Default Riverbet range in 3bet pot 163bb deep

Haven't played with villain before. I'm sure he's a reg. He seems solid and seems to be playing something like 26/22.
I've been playing something like 22/19 with above average with regards to 3betting. But like I said, we are talking about small sample here.

LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

UTG: $3,596.50
CO: $1,634.75
BTN: $1,466
Hero (SB): $1,942
BB: $539.95

Pre-Flop: X Y dealt to Hero (SB)
UTG folds, CO raises to $30, BTN folds, Hero raises to $110, BB folds, CO calls $80

Flop: ($230) 9 8 5 (2 Players)
Hero bets $150, CO calls $150

Turn: ($530) Q (2 Players)
Hero bets $385, CO calls $385

River: ($1,300) 2 (2 Players)
Hero bets $1,297 and is All-In, CO ....

I'm sure villain is capable of calling light pre since we are 163bbs deep.

What I'm really curious about is this. I feel like my value range for 3barreling on this board is pretty narrow. At the same time I feel like I don't credible rep alot of bluff hands. Or let me rephrase, I don't 3barrel bluff this situation almost ever. Now ofcourse villain doesn't know that about me specifically. But he can asume something about the "std nl1k reg" or whatever.

My reasons for not 3barrel bluffing this board are 1) I don't 3bet alot preflop vs seemingly good players 163 bb deep 2) there are 2 possible straights, bunch of set possibility, 2 pairs and slowplayed overpairs altough I'm aware of some of these hands will be raising earlier in the hand.

Anyhow I would love to hear how light you guys are jamming river?
Anyone vb a betsize that isn't a jam?
I don't think there's alot of value in checking river - agree?

Are you 3-betting a polarized range preflop, or a top heavy one like 99+/AJ+? Is there any history here where you would shove here for value with AA/KK/AQ?

There really isn't any history at all. Villain wouldn't know what my 3betting range consisted of.
This deep without knowledge about villain I would mostly be 3betting a polorized range.

i guess check if you wanna ch/c if u think he has a ton of bluffs in his range, or if you think hes gonna hero you a bit since a ton of draws miss, and you know that he doesnt have too strong of a hand once you flat a 985cc flop/ his hand looks like pair n gutter or somethin similar on the turn.

I guess the lightest I'd imagine him calling would be QTs/QJs that floats the flop, hits tp, and once ppl have tp in a 3b pot, they dont fold. It depends a lot on what villain views you as, which can turn this into a ch/f with KQ vs some and a value shove vs others.

If we're betting do you like going all in or is a something like a half psb in order on this board? Beacause like your saying we are mainly trying to get calls from Qx, JJ, TT, 9x, 8x and the odd KK, which for the most part is a pretty weak range to be calling a big bet on the river.

AQ, KQ sometimes. I like the sizing, and yea you can rep lots of missed gutshots/clubs. Seems like a pretty good spot to 3 barrel with a reasonably clean image since he is going to have less than a Q a lot and is going to have a hard time making a herocall. 160bbs deep isn't that deep with 2 aggro regs, imo.

if you're not 3betting much, that's good on this board, because you've got a lot more overpairs that are going for value as opposed to AJ, K5ss that were barreling 3rd pair etc. If you are worried about not having 98s or JTs in your range - well, people will never assume that, because few 3bet these hands OOP because of their playability.

True, but I would be too scared of being picked of by QQ+, straights, sets or some 2 pairs. Maybe this isn't rational and thus I should pull the trigger more often. But I know I don't...

I think I know what you're getting at, but could you elaborate what your trying to say here?

I think shoving the river with AQ+ for value seems fairly reasonable, and as playforfoodz said his range includes mostly pair + draw hands. I might even consider jamming JJ for value.
