Default set on 3lfushturn 140bb deep

Villain is a reg ($hark2u on stars) playing 25 / 21, 64% BN open. BB is a fish so i think preflop is fine.

Stacks:
UTG ($2,397.15)
UTG+1 ($1,245.80)
CO ($1,333.70)
BTN ($1,384)
c0gnAc (SB) ($1,736.30)
BB ($800)

Pre-Flop: ($15, 6 players) c0gnAc is SB 3 3
3 folds, BTN raises to $21.90, c0gnAc calls $16.90, 1 fold

Flop: 3 8 5 ($53.80, 2 players)
c0gnAc checks, BTN bets $40.90, c0gnAc raises to $120, BTN calls $79.10

Turn: J ($293.80, 2 players)
c0gnAc bets $190, BTN calls $190

River: 10 ($673.80, 2 players)
c0gnAc checks, BTN bets $410, c0gnAc calls $410

Villain seems to like to fight for pots and hes really does not like folding (34 WTSD over 8k hands). In retrospect I wouldve raised flop a little bigger and also my turnbet seems a little small for these stacksizes. Im sure he peels the flop superlight, so maybe check calling twice on turn and river is a better option here? I decided to check call river because i didnt want to call a shove allthough i could see him turning anything with the Ad into a bluff... thoughts?

too much stuff to protect from. your betsizing is a little small on all streets but the hand is otherwise standard, the player you described should be able to call river with two pair or an overpair enough to make this standard. i do not like check-calling river. if i checked river, i might check fold.

I also think you should just check raise, bet , bet and then make a decision. Think tarts better for your overall range because the board run out is good for you to bluff. Also would bet larger on all streets
