Obviously all we're thinking about is villain's range. Even if a reg jammed all in like that you may be able to chalk it up to a misclick or something. Call and make a note of it in the future. The board came down pretty drawy so I dont think I can lay it down. Plus its only about 100bb effective stacks.

I was actually playing a similar guy on PS yesterday who kept overbetting like 3x pot on the turn whenever he raised the flop and it was a much tougher situation to call cuz we were 250bbs deep.

^^ so pretend that thats what I'm talking about and it's difficult.

What are you thinking about versus the overbet in that spot?

Overbet in that spot is he either has it (set or top 2 type of hand) or he is a complete maniac. Once I see the guy overbet numerous times at too high a frequency to be sets, 2 pair, etc., Im going to adjust by calling lighter with tpgk, rejamming strong draws. The first couple times though I think you gotta let it go... Its tough to justify putting in 200 dollars light when the pot is like 70 and you're likely facing a river barrel.

I think the times that we do have a good enough hand to go with, he's shooting himself in the foot by betting so large and suffering huge losses.

He's played every hand so far. I think doubling up and leaving is extremely unlikely

doesnt matter, its not a reg.

if it was a reg, the reg would suck because making 5x pot overbets into the pf 3bettor is a dominated strategy.

id call the reg too, for the reason that im excited to get my hand AI on the flop, although this is one of the worst ways it can go down
