Re: help with paying bills with poker monies???
I think everyone will do this differently.
Personally I always have a long term plan. Since I started poker I have never given poker a permanent number 1 priority. The long term plan (back then: finishing my Bsc and Msc ) was always more important.
In the beginning I've focused on building a bankroll: 40BI as a minimum spread over different sites and e-wallets. For live poker I think it is a little differnt. Anyway I didn't cash out before 200nl (10k br).
Keeping them seperate is important, it just messes up your mind if you lose a lot while you need the money for something else. The 40BI might seem overdone to someone not doing BR management, but to me it's minimum I've found useful a few times before. I am a solid winner at the midstakes, yet last month I encountered a 25BI swing, those are harsh and can put you back big time. Make sure that the bankroll does not add pressure, during a swing there is plenty pressure.
BTW:
Above 40BI the money is free to spend, I've used that to pay for my studies / save / stocks / bonds.
