Default How Can I Invest in Making Myself a Better Player?

So, I have been playing for a year or so and I have seen some decent earnings. However, when moving up to higher and higher stakes, my edge has gone down due to the surrounding skill levels of the players that are usually at the table.

I play 6 max and 9 man 3/6 and sometimes 5/10 NL HE on stars and I have recently started using hold em manager to analyze the hand histories i have accumulated. This has been working decently for when I play someone I have already played against but there are so many players on stars that I would like to get some bulk hand histories to import to hold em manager. The only site I found up until this point was poker table ratings but their prices are ridiculous.

I came across a new site offering hand histories that is actually offering the entire month of december for free as a promotion. Have any of you guys heard of this site? At very least I'm thinking that a full months worth of hand histories is worth checking out. Especially since it seems they are offering it for their entire database for every limit they mine. Anyways if I could get a second opinion on the matter that would be great. The site is www.Handtrackers.com

I thought buying bulk hands was against site TOS and would get you banned. I'll let someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm like 80% sure.

Just play less tables and slowly build up your hand database. That's what I do every time I get a new computer (I don't back up my hands...so every computer is like a fresh start)

Hmmmm, ya it might be. I checked it out and got a bunch of free 1-2nl 6max hands. Let's see what holdem manager can do with these...

^^ I checked out handtrackers that is. And yeah their promotion delivered. Got a total of 3602424 hands. Lmfao. I wonder how much that woulda cost me on PTR lol. I think I'll use the money on a coach instead of hand histories at this point.
