3bet pots: turn brings an overcard you dont have.
Example: I 3bet jj from the blinds v a button opener flop 582ss. I cbet flop and the turn is an offsuit Ace.
This is a situation Im not entirely sure about, and would like to hear some thoughts. Most villians will have me running at 25/20ish, more aggro than most and perhaps a little on the looser/bluffier side than norm.
In general I would bet the turn, because i bet this turn very frequently as a bluff. However versus an abc reg, as i expect him to fold his 8x 99/TT type hands alot here, is there more merit to a check since i fold out most hands i beat?
Same situation, versus a laggy floaty player is there merit to checking the turn to allow him to bet his floats or again is betting better?
Example 2: I 3bet Q8 from blinds v button, cbet q56ss flop and the turn is an offsuit King. How do you proceed versus different opponents?
