Yeh that has been my standard, but I wonder with tp if we are missing value here.
I mean, his range is draws, Tx/Jx, and some airy crap
If we have a J (even a weak J) then he has 1.5x as many Tx hands as Jx hands (since 2 J's left and 3 T's left), so by raising, we get more value from those to more than make up when we occasionally are outkicked by a better J. It's already much more profitable to raise I think. And now that we get much more value from draws also, it seems that raising flop with all JX might be significantly more profitable than a call.
If we have a T, then there is 1.5 times more Jx hands as Tx hands and it becomes closer.
Sometimes I feel like I miss too much value against these bigger fish, and this might well be a spot.
Thoughts on raising all Jx inc J9 ... maybe small to about 36 or 38, bet 60% on turn, and small-ish on river like 1/3 with TPNK ?
