Default line with nizzles on the turn

Full Tilt Poker $2/$4 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

BB: $492.00
UTG: $163.65
MP: $402.00
CO: $345.40
Hero (BTN): $402.00
SB: $897.20

Pre Flop: ($6.00) Hero is BTN with Q K
1 fold, MP raises to $14, CO calls $14, Hero calls $14, 1 fold, BB calls $10

Flop: ($58.00) T J 5 (4 players)
BB checks, MP bets $40, CO folds, Hero calls $40, BB calls $40

Turn: ($178.00) 9 (3 players)
BB checks, MP bets $132 Hero ?

i feel like the rest of the hand is pretty standard up until the turn, i guess there can be an argument made for squeezing pre and maybe folding flop, although i doubt either of those are that good.

MP is a tag playing 21/16 and isn't that aggressive postflop, given this situation i would say his range is very strong. BB is a 28/16 tagfish that seems to not fold to cbets very often.

A raise here is never a bluff so I like calling. Just pray the river is a blank 2. Also, the BB might wake up and you can trap the original raiser. Yes, calling gives the BB great odds if he is on a flush draw, but it makes you look the weakest.

TBH, I would usually just raise here when I'm playing a bunch of tables, but I don't think it's the best play. MP has to be really bad to stack off here with anything but TT, JJ, and chops if you raise the turn (I would fold 55 here in a heartbeat)

no way MP is gonna fold like anything if you raise, unless he is a huge barrel monkey. cbetting JTxcc and brling a 9o turn, into 4 then 3 players is really strong. However, I think calling is going to be best with nuts/combo draws/ two pair hands since BB can do somethin stupid. I mean as long as the river isnt like the Qc or 8c, ur gonna stack sets/two pairs/ let him run his bluff on like all rivers

I think that calling and raising are both fine in this particular spot, but if the BB is really susceptible to spew I like a call. I agree that MP's range is strong and will likely feel pot committed to call a turn shove.

If the BB isn't terrible then there are benefits of getting the money in now to protect against a FD overcall and to get it in before any possible rivers that kill your action if MP is weak tight. In addition, villain isn't that aggressive and might not bluff missed draws on the river with less than a half pot sized bet on the river and has basically no air in his range.

I'd jam, MP is so strong here and rarely folding. Pot is huge, I'd get the money in here with very good equity.
