Default NL400: facing check back, raise turn line

villain 26/22/155 hands
cbet F/T: 60/60

The key hand is this and I'll provide some more history further downwards.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $4(BB) Replayer
Hero ($490)
BB ($1428)
BTN ($418)

Dealt to Hero K A

BTN raises to $10, Hero calls $8, fold

FLOP ($24) 5 9 A

Hero checks, BTN checks

TURN ($24) 5 9 A 2

Hero bets $20, BTN raises to $48, Hero ?

A couple days ago I played a session with him on my right and I went absolutely crazy. Basically because I could establish an aggressive image with light 3bets and got some decent hands afterwards. So in this hand he showed that he's capable of making suspicous calls.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $4(BB) Replayer
SB ($412)
BB ($406)
UTG ($406)
UTG+1 ($400)
Hero ($550)
BTN ($542)

Dealt to Hero Q A

fold, UTG+1 raises to $12, Hero calls $12, fold, fold, fold

FLOP ($30) Q 9 Q

UTG+1 bets $20, Hero raises to $50, UTG+1 calls $30

TURN ($130) Q 9 Q T

UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $70, UTG+1 calls $70

RIVER ($270) Q 9 Q T K

UTG+1 checks, Hero checks

UTG+1 shows 5 5
(Pre 52%, Flop 7.4%, Turn 4.5%)

Hero shows Q A
(Pre 48%, Flop 92.6%, Turn 95.5%)

Hero wins $264

And afterwards we played this hand where I'm not sure I made the biggest or worst fold of my live (it was more a result of timing out)

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $4(BB) Replayer
SB ($422)
BB ($406)
CO ($402)
Hero ($644)

Dealt to Hero A A

CO raises to $12, Hero calls $12, fold, fold

FLOP ($30) Q 6 Q

CO bets $20, Hero calls $20

TURN ($70) Q 6 Q 2

CO checks, Hero bets $52, CO raises to $144, Hero folds

Of course it's not a good idea to bet the turn without having a plan on what to do vs a c/r but at that time I basically expected to get c/r'd like never so this really surprised me and I was kinda shocked. I just couldn't figure out why on earth he would c/r on this board with a bluff given our image where it's superlikely that I'll look him up with any pair. That said, I think it's still a call because he can valueraise KK, JJ, TT.
This hand just went completely wrong. I was just hoping to bet turn and river and get called by AT again but as I said this c/r completely took me off.

As for the initial hand his valuerange looks like sth like 22, sometimes A2 and 43s and that's basically it. Would he ever check back a big hand on this board anticipating a stabbet by me on the turn to raise it up? Would he ever do this with AQ or AJ? I doubt it so imo I'm WA/WB but can I really call a huge riverbet? It seems like he likes to raise in spots where he doesn't rep anything so I wish even more I'd have looked him up in the AA hand but what can you do.

Btw: I was obv. flatting both hands pre because there were aggressive 3bettors behind me.

call/call and i don't think any other options are even close. maybe turn your hand into a bluff on the river if you think he doesn't check back a fd on this board.

Then we have to call down almost any pair because except some blocking potential and a tiny tiny chance that he took this line with TP, a pair + draw type hand or a weak pair that he decided to turn into a bluff, they're basically the same, right?

nah id fold a lot of weaker pairs, just because a lot of his bluffing range has a ton more equity vs. 88 here than AK, plus the slight chance he has like Ax here doing god knows what.
