Blah just check it. Those hearts coming in I think is the difference maker for me.

Re: River spot vs. unknown
What hearts are in villan's range? Maybe T8hh, JThh, A9hh,....
If we check, I think it's a check fold

Re: River spot vs. unknown
I'm saying that yes villain can have hearts, but hearts also shifts what villain thinks about our range (and therefore how likely he is to call 'light')

Re: River spot vs. unknown
which are going to hate life the most?
c/f, c/c or b/f?
b/f seems aweful seeing as the villian is a competent player he should be raising you almost everytime, and you have a ton of showdown value, but don't want to fold. so c/c doesn't seem to aweful... and he should have a large portion of hands he is turning into bluffs in his range as well (qx etc)

Re: River spot vs. unknown
i think my options are b/f or c/f here, i feel like i end up betting these spots a lot because it feels kind of dirty to c/f such a strong hand in this spot.

If we check, it's never to call (at least I don't think so).
The problem with betting is that there are so few hands that can call us, but the good part is I don't think villans will ever raise as bluff or worse for value. So, yeah. bet/fold me likey. I probably like a small bet though to widen his calling range.

Re: River spot vs. unknown
Seems like a good spot to c/f the river. He isn't calling another barrel with worse enough and has a lot of nutted hands in his range by the river. He'll check back his worse Qs usually too.
