Re: 10nl Session at Merge
ok to start, loose about 90% of the stats in your HUD, this is 10nl and you have what seems like 25 hud stats. Vpip/PFR/3bet is all you need, use your pop up when u need more.
30 seconds, i would open the J9s from MP
i noticed your opening the but for 2x. id would be 2.5 minimum,
@ 1:30ish you 3 bet AQo OTB vs an iso raise. I like this since the limper seems to be a fish from his stats. I don't know if you have reads, calling off is a small mistake here, your behind all of his PP's and A8 has you crushed. its a small mistake vs his range.
@2:49 33 in the blind vs a raise, a call and 3 bet sqz is a snap fold. You just burned money if the original raiser 4 bets. Plus your oop the entire hand and this lowers your chance of getting paid if you do hit.
@3:47 47d OTB this is a flop I'm betting with my entire range and you check back after smashing the flop, even if you get c/r'd you can still peel, because the pot is so small due to 2xing the but, and you need to build a pot, plus you can better hands to fold such as any 2 cards over 8 such as 89, 9T and most pp's.
7:09 you fold KK T95r to a c/r vs the guy you just stacked who showed complete air after he 3 bet pre, c'd flop, and bet T&R. This fold is criminal. Definitely a call, i would not raise him since he folds his air. although he may shove any Tx hand here.
9:00 you fold 54d on Kh2h4c to a cbet bvb, i would float this flop a lot since these regs are going to cbet way to much oop, His value range is super narrow and you can often take this pot away later, plus you flopped 2nd pair, which is likely ahead.
10:32 you 3bet side in SB w J8s is too big vs a 2x, 70 would be better. remember your oop and bluffing here. We should keep pots smaller when we are oop and he's folding to 7x just as much as 8x. Im not going to write a paragraph on 3 bet pots here, but you cbet 1/2 pot when you hit 2nd pair. so, is your cbet for value or is it a bluff, did you have an plan if you got raised?
17:10 you iso a fish limper with Adkc to 5x, good size. Then you don't cbet Qd9d4c, you must cbet this vs a 50 vpip, hi range is huge, and often air, you have 2 overs and a back door FD SD, thats plenty to cbet with since you have the Ad this reduces his possible FD by 40ish % ( its late I'm tired but you can do the math on poker stove) His calling range is also going to be wide here but there are many good barrel cards on the turn for you. But once you do check, folding turn is fine.
21:00 when you call Ad2d out of the blind vs a raise UTG and a call, and get a flop of KKQdd, you check fold to a cbet,,,,,,,,,,, what kind of flop are you looking for?
here is a very tight UTG range vs your hand, very tight range and you have 40% equity. Vs some villains c/r is fine, this guy seems uber tight, but i can't ever fold here if he ever has TJ then your 45%.
ad AT 22 33 44 and you a coin flip. Since players cbet way to much here c/r is just to profitable.
Ok its late as hell and I'm mega tired, hope this helped some.
