But if you know that a guy takes a s/d line with all his Qx then in my experience the regs at 10nl have a very disbalanced range when they make small raises in 3bp. As such shoving i think shoving vs some opponents has a lot of merit. i mean what hands beat you that they raise on a board like this, pretty much just sets which most a lot of people will just call flop with anyway. The reason you don't want to call call with AK instead of jamming in this spot is that villain will often have decent equity vs your hand and so making him fold anything on flop is a good result.

I think you would have to have a sick ass read to profitably shove here vs. just about everyone. A lot of nut hands go for value by making small raises on the flop such as QQ, KK, AA, 77, lots of pair + FD hands that are rarely in my experience folding (omgzzz I has 50% equity Im all in!).
I get what you are saying about shoving but you need a sick ass read to do this. Otherwise we have position there is no reason at all not to float/call if we think his range consists of a lot of bluffs. We can play our AK for what little showdown value it has rather than turning it into a bluff, because as I said we are ahead of his pure bluffs and will be ahead of his bricked semibluffs on the turn.
However I do agree also that a lot of regs will take this extremely stupid line with a lot of junk so it merits some more of my consideration. Would also like to hear from others on this.
