Default 50NL Straight on flush turn

Villain is a standard abc reg 21/17 with no real reads, the SB is a fish.

Ongame Network $50.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players -

BB: $71.64
UTG: $48.18
Hero (CO): $51.13
BTN: $50.09
SB: $32.13

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is CO with Q K
1 fold, Hero raises to $2, BTN calls $2, SB calls $1.75, 1 fold

Flop: ($6.50) T J 9 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5.50, BTN calls $5.50, SB folds

Turn: ($17.50) J (2 players)
Hero bets $10.00, BTN raises to $42.59

I hate calling the shove here because his range for not raising the flop is mainly fd. Is the better play here check/call since i have the K of clubs ?

He should be raising all sets and two pair on the flop, so I think his range is weighted towards flushes here, I don't really, like c/c because we can still gain value from trip Jacks, and pair plus draws. So I think a bet/fold is probably in order.

I actually think this is a good spot to b/f...

Given his flop call, i don't think he has a reason to shove this turn unless he's just hit his FD...

I can't see him calling the flop w/2pair and deciding to raise a terrible card for himself on the turn, a flush or house is the only thing that really makes sense here

unless he's got a pair +FD, w/Ac... maybe that would be a shoving spot for him too, but still- the larger part of his range is flushes and houses.

I've been thinking about this hand, I think c/c might be in order here, because we might get him to spazz out with his draws, firing two thinking we never can really have a strong when we ck, and he should also be betting w/ JJ. And it really sucks when we get raised here. Idk great hand to post!

yeah- after thinking about it- c/c>b/f, cos it keeps his range wider, and i think he bets most of his range with this turn card after we lead flop and check turn.

I think we have to b/f a blank river, once we call turn he'll be checking behind river w/most of the hands that we beat, but he'll call our river bet with alot of them.

How about a c/r turn? This would extract another bet from his wide range, although i think the range he calls a c/r turn with is much smaller than what he would call a river bet with- is that correct?

+1, AJ,KJ,QJ are all shoving here + other random combo hands like AQ with one club or something so I think b/c is the way to go/

yeah- but isn't he usually leading his worse hands on this turn?

And what kind of hands does he have for value that overshove us when we lead?
Imo the only hands we beat here that he'll shove are pair+FD combos- the only other hands he shoves with are houses and flushes.

Edit: posted this as the last post was being made- didn't see it

Betting the turn will fold out a lot draws and weaker hands, and should only be called by trips jacks, and better hands then ours. By cking all the hands that will call our turn or be looking to raise our turn bet will bet turn and river, and possibly some of the hands we may have folded out, will most likely be betting the turn, like single card draws that miss on the river should be barreling again, because its a wet board, and our hand looks rather weak.

I think the only time betting is > then c/c is verse a very loose passive, station or fish.

b/c turn, imo. He raises a set on the flop so he does not have a boat, imo. I think he could play worse this way.
