Default 50nl: Versus a competent villain, Spew?

Starting to mix in 50nl with my 25nl tables. Take note that we are 3 handed here. Interesting hand against a seemingly competent aggressive villain. 60 hands, 24/24/1.4AF, playing 50% of his buttons with a 43% attempt to steal. I've been mixing it up with him for a while prior to the hand. 3bet his button raise once and he folded. I've folded to most of his button raises (and his SB raises). Two questions about my play here.

1) Thoughts on the c/r on the flop. My thinking was his range is superwide and I haven't c/r him yet and have alot of equity against his range even if he flats and I can fire most turns.

2) After the flop 3bet are we folding or shoving here?

A check/raise on this dry flop usually represents a super narrow value range. You did something "out of the norm" imo in picking a hand for check/raising that is probably in a lot of trouble when called or raised (instead of raising polarized here), because you have no clue where you stand against the villains range. I think you should've check/called.
As played I can only judge from experience and I would say that stacking off here might be a slight mistake, although some tags really overreact to raises that don't make a lot of sense. Shoving is massive variance and I'm pretty sure the villain has Qx, higher pairs or suited Ax in his range too often to make that profitable. His betsize is less bluffy so to say, as he committed himself.

I definetly agree with MrNutflush, as played im folding this. I also think we should be 3betting 99 pre particularly as 3 handed.

never c/r the flop here.

* you are folding out all the hands you beat and are getting call by almost all better hands and draws that have 30% equity vs you.

as played i fold.

yep, agree with all the above bad flop to c/raise. Not sure about 3 betting pre. I like to play mid paris slow pre and then on the right flop get the c/raise aginst his very wide range.

I would prefer a 3bet pre with 34s, 89s ATs etc but mid pairs are strong 3 handed so i prefer to see the flop and thake it from there.

Thinking about it I can see a reason to 3bet 99 pre in 3 handed games thoug....

Thanks for the responses guys. Looking back on this hand and reading the above advice I think I took the worst line possible with the hand. I ended up shoving here (which again is terrible since I have little to no fold equity and the villains calling range 100% crushes me) and villain showed me AQ and I didn't spike a 2 outer.
