Another thing to consider is if the room is running a tournament series, there tends to be more cash games running with more action than normal. The WSOP had a circuit event at Caesars 2 weeks ago and now the Venetian is running their first deep stack extravaganza of the year so the games are better than normal.

After 5 straight winning months after coming back to poker, I am now down 19.5 BIs through 9k hands this month. Including being down a whopping 16 BIs in my last 3500 hands. I am now questioning whether I am even a good player anymore, because NOTHING is working and I have never had a run this bad in my life. I have played for years and profited, as high as 1/2 regularly, and to lose that much that quickly is a huge blow to the gut. Really questioning myself now.
