Default NL 20 89s facing turn bet

IPoker, $0.10/$0.20 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

BB: $10.30
UTG: $20
CO: $20.35
Hero (BTN): $26.80
SB: $20.43

Pre-Flop: 8 9 dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG folds, CO raises to $0.60, Hero calls $0.60, 2 folds

Flop: ($1.50) 4 T 3 (2 Players)
CO checks, Hero bets $1, CO raises to $3.20, Hero calls $2.20

Turn: ($7.90) 7 (2 Players)
CO bets $5.60, Hero folds

Results: $7.90 Pot
CO showed and WON $13.11 (+$9.31 NET)

Villain is 23/21 on 100 hands, cb 0/3, seems quite passive
Can i call the turn?
By my calculations i can't call there profitably. I think he can have sets, some Tx like KT,AT, overpairs, bigger FDs(KQs,QJs etc.), maybe some weaker FDs like 67s
Am i way off with this range? vs that i have 35% eq, and i think i need 41%

Am i doing it this the right way?

15 outs is like ~30% max and you get ~41%. Calling is -ev.

Only when you think you get implied odds you can call but your implied odds arent that good because he could easyly have a (better) fd himself.

we need 5.6/(5.6+5.6+7.9) = 29% equity to call the turn, so i'd certainly call. fwiw i expect his range to be pretty value-heavy here... most people just don't c/r as the PFR very light @ all.

Ya just our implied odds are 3-1 and 6 of our outs are well-disguised.

So now I do call turn.

I'd call turn, yes. As long as you don't fold it does not matter much what you do.
