Hi, Villain in this hand 26/22 with a fold to 3-bet of 33% over 133 hands. Unfortunately I probably wasn't paying attention to him and didn't really note any reads :-( I don't remember ever 3-betting this guy.
In spots like this I usually default to calling because the opener was UTG and I think that he won't call with worse too often since my range looks so strong for 3-betting his UTG raise. Looking at the hand now I can definitely see that a 3-bet could be ok since he's only folding to 33% of 3-bets, but that was only a 3-hand sample. Also if he 4-bets I suppose I'd have to dump the hand. What do you guys think? 3-bet/fold, 3-bet/5-bet, or flat call the open? If villain was 14/12 what would you do?
Wondering also that since my hand is offsuit if it would be better to take a 3-bet/fold 3-bet/5 bet line then a flat because my hand will miss often, I'll be oop and won't have all that backdoor equity that a suited hand provides.
-Thank You.
