Default NL25: top2 facing so much strength

villain 40/30 over 40 hands
5tabling from netherlands

We've played the following hand before and I've seen him defending 98o BB vs BTN, c/c his bottom open ender on a JTx rb board and not turn it into a bluff on 2 blanks.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.25(BB) Replayer
SB ($20.53)
Hero ($25)
BTN ($29.85)

Dealt to Hero K T

BTN raises to $0.75, fold, Hero calls $0.50

FLOP ($1.60) 7 T 7

Hero checks, BTN checks

TURN ($1.60) 7 T 7 8

Hero bets $1.30, BTN calls $1.30

RIVER ($4.20) 7 T 7 8 Q

Hero bets $2.80, BTN calls $2.80

BTN shows A A
(Pre 82%, Flop 87.7%, Turn 95.5%)

Hero shows K T
(Pre 18%, Flop 12.3%, Turn 4.5%)

BTN wins $9.36

Probably too thin of a valuebet on the river given that some of his hands make TP, especially if he checks back AA.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.25(BB) Replayer
SB ($29.87)
BB ($20)
Hero ($28.15)
BTN ($16.45)

Dealt to Hero Q K

Hero raises to $0.75, fold, SB calls $0.65, fold

FLOP ($1.75) 6 2 Q

SB bets $0.75, Hero calls $0.75

TURN ($3.25) 6 2 Q K

SB checks, Hero bets $2.30, SB raises to $6.15, Hero calls $3.85

RIVER ($15.55) 6 2 Q K 4

SB bets $11.25, Hero ?

So far he appears like a regfish and when he leads that small and c/r the turn I think he either has the complete nuts or a completely random bluff. On the river he could as well shove for 20$ but he bets 2/3 again. Does that have any special meaning? Would you ever consider folding this? I did because his line looks so much like 66 or 22 but that's just 6 combos and he could now and then show up with some weird Kx or stone cold bluff. I'd say he gives up most of his bluffs on the river though or at least shoves them most of the time. If you decided to not fold the river, would you also shoves for value vs those Kx hands or just call because he's polarized so much?

Dutch guys are crazy man..

I call, 40/33 player could make moves imo, eventhough you have only played few hands with the guy.

He could play jt, aj like this, he could have kq himself. Sometimes air because you might bet this turn with air.You arent calling turn with air but villain might think he is commited to bet river or whatever.

Yea this just looks too fishy the first time, especially after he really slowplayed a big pair in the previous hand. Putting him 66/22 for a value range is just too narrow and he can definitely have some dumb bluffs here, call.

hand 1 was played fine. now that you know he cks AA you could consider playing it differently (though i'd still go bet/bet), but in any event that's such a nonstandard flop check by him that it shouldn't have affected your original decision.

hand 2, just call. who knows what he has... he could even have worse for value. he's shown he's capable of taking zany, irrational lines in hand 1 so writing this off as the nuts is way too presumptuous imo

H1 would influence how I interpret his bets. Anyway, after seeing H1, I would assume his bets mean his range is on the weaker side, so I'd call him down in H2.

hand 2 I call it off. he could be doing something weird and it does seem unlikely you have a K unless you have QK specifically.

Hand 1 is standard he can def. call with worse Tx or things like 99, 7x.

Hand 2 I like calling because I think most fish check sets, they seem to rarely donk them, they like to be trappy with them so I think that removes a lot of sets in his range also he likely will see the K as a scare card to your range making him possibly turn something into a bluff like 6x or 88 to get you off Qx.
