Hey reusje,

You're playing tightly but your steal% is close to acceptable so you're positionally aware and at least taking advantage of the times you have good position. However, you could still open up a lot more from the BTN pretty comfortably, you're passing up such a huge advantage by playing tightly in late position.

Your 3bet% is on the tight side, you're 3betting slightly more from the BTN then you are from the blinds, which is good, but you could be doing it a lot more.

Your cbet% would be reasonable if you were playing a looser style but, given how tightly you're playing, it means that you're likely not cbetting as a bluff too frequently. The tighter you are the stronger your postflop range and the more you can cbet, it probably wouldn't be a theoretical mistake for you to cbet 100% of your range and it definitely wouldn't be a practical mistake to do so at small stakes.

Your W$WSF and Agg% are low from the BB which tells me you don't pick up limped pots very frequently, have a read through post 16 in this thread on limped pot play.

Your c/r flop% is low but you're CCing very tightly OOP so it's not a big problem for you right now.

Your vs. 3bet fold% is pretty high, it's around the point where players can insta profit preflop on their 3bets. However, given how tight you're playing, it's unlikely they're 3betting you too light in general so it's probably fine at the moment. If you loosen up from late position and find yourself getting played back at more then you may need to defend a little more liberally. DON'T overdo this though, it's very common to believe you're getting played back at more when you adjust to a looser style. Most of your opponent's will still not be 3betting you that lightly so do not feel obligated to call with marginal hands just because you're playing a bit looser. A lot of the time your opponent's will have just caught a run of cards.

Made a few changes to my game and it would e heplful if u could point me in the right direction as to what has changed for the good and what has changed for the worst.
Thanks a ton.

Hey Dougie,

VPIP/PFR look similar, you've tightened up from EP and the SB, no harm in that. CO and BTN look similar.

Your 3bet% has gone way, way down which isn't good. Try to focus on bringing it back up when you're otb.

Your fold to 3bet is much better now, possibly on the tight side but that's a lot better than where it was.

Flop cbet has gone up slightly and it was already pretty high to begin with so that's fine.

You're not double barrelling as much as you used to be, probably not a huge issue at these stakes and it could be just sample size related.

Your W$WSF and Agg% are still low from the blinds so you need to pick up limped pots more often.

Hey RJ,

i would love to hear some comments on my nitty FR stats.
The 17 K hands were 10-handed, last 2.5 K 9 handed (on cake - HM didn't get them as what they are: NL0.25/0.50 but as NL25/50 or whatever?!).
Thanks in advance!
Cheers
Markus

Hey Markus,

I'm not sure what typical FR stats would look like but your steal% is pretty low so you could definitely look to steal a lot more when it's folded around to you in the CO and BTN. I guess it doesn't come up as much in FR though.

Your 3bet%s are the same from all positions, you want to be 3betting a lot more when you're IP. Look for spots where people are opening from the CO and HJ and throw in a few 3bet bluffs. Against maniacs you can 3bet them a lot when you're IP as an isolation play to take initiative, good hands to do this with are broadways and hands which have decent postflop potential like SCs. Against regulars you generally want to avoid using these type of hands since you're able to coldcall them and don't want to get 4bet off your hand, so you'd use weaker hands like non callable broadways, low SCs and gappers and offsuit connectors.

Your cbetting stat looks good.

Your W$WSF and Agg% from the BB is pretty low so you could look to pick up more limped pots.
