I fold preflop.

I check behind flop. I don't think I am folding river here. I don't think there's that many 9x in his range.

Pre can be totally fine, dunno with the infos you gave. Flop wp, turn you could bet it + river vs. many and get a huge amount of folds, with right image especially. That turn is soo much better to your range than someone whos cold called a 3bet. I bet you can find a good amount of players that fold like 90%+ of their range by the river. Probably not the case here, but with the infos you gave I would still go with that plan. Good reads would be so essential in spot like that.
As played this river looks like a great spot to still shove. I think folding is worst here, hes gonna have 99 so rarely and people play so bad that they can bet alot here. Calling should be ok, but I think shoving is way way better.

Also these kinda spots come up so rarely that I would never care about having balanced ranges or smth. Play this agro and theres like almost nothing people can do about it anyway, even if they have some sort of idea on whats going on.

i like shoving as well unless he calls for splits an absurdly high % of the time or doesn't bet himself to get you off the split.

it seems pretty unorthodox to just shove here when he bets half the pot which can be for value a lot of the time..
