Re: Big $109 - Rate my triple barrell
spew imo, you have a good stack and image
just concentrate on taking blinds and opens in position
anyway pre is a marginal call (if i were to three bet id want at least a broadway blocker ideally and Ace)
flop is ok
turn c/f
as is river
no one folds and hes never folding the river with 88 or 99 getting 3-1 even though he shld (opr him if hes winning then maybe fire the river as played but i think after he called OTT he is calling river bet too often for it to be profitable ) def allin on an A or K.
how did you rate it?

Reason: i know its bad cos i do this on these boards and never get folds on river

Re: Big $109 - Rate my triple barrell
I think its ok, I posted on MSMTT on 2+2 and it got mixed reactions if you wanted to see some other thoughts ( http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/18...rrell-1147568/). I did get called down but he had a boat so that doesn't say much about how good/bad it might be. I would've felt a lot better or worse about it if he'd folded or called me with some sort of bluff catcher.
On a scale of 10 < - > facepalm, I definitely don't think its down the facepalm end of the scale but it might not be that great either, especially when it involves such high variance for this many bb at this stage of a tournament like this. I do stuff like this so rarely too, especially vs randoms in these tournaments

the fact he had a boat makes me like it more
maybe just fire 2 cos if he calls on turn most likely calling river

Re: Big $109 - Rate my triple barrell
Pre flop seems spewy and sizing a little small, as played cbet flop slightly bigger and shove turn.
Edit, just saw mp2s stack size, cant make it too much bigger. Another reason to not 3bet pre.

Re: Big $109 - Rate my triple barrell
Depending on the player I'd cbet up to all of my RR range on flop or vs a tougher player I'd cbet 60% of the time on flop, a range that is about 55% against opponents range. I like 1400 as sizing because it will still be very hard to play profitably for opp and If I am betting 60% of my range I want him to call turn with 99 and worse. Turn I would shove about 75-85% of my flop betting range vs a tougher player probably more vs a weaker player.
I don't think you want to play a 3 street game against any non terrible opponent I prefer shoving turn or checking turn as a gameplan and depending on how wide I am 3 betting would influence my sizing on flop. I gave myself a 3 betting range of 9-10% to get a feel for the hand but I wouldn't want to RR a hand as weak as 68s, there are better hands to do this with unless this really is an amazing spot, which in a vacuum I don't think it is but 68s is on the cusp anyway so its whatever.
