I am a cash player that play NL$100 at OnGame. I am small winner at those stakes however with the bonuess etc i win a bit. I don't do it for a living so i play from time to time when I have time (full time job, golf and World Of Warcaft
).
I prefer cash games but from time to time i play MTTs and at the moment there are some nice turneys at Ongame.

As you can see my smaple size is small (if not very small) however I am strugling with something.
I played two of turneys in the last few days with buyins of $100 and $150. had a ticket and some points to spend

In each tunrey I have acumulated nice stacks in early stages (which happens quite a lot for me) i was 9th out of 300 left in one of them and 30th out of 300 in the other one. Both had around 1k entrants to the turney.
From that point in both turneys, (when tere is like 300 left) i was trying to gain more chips but each time i lost bit by bit and eventyly had to shove and loose not to even get in the money.
I lost KT vs AT when i raised and hit T high board and just guy keep calling me down, QJ vs AQ when i was cold called pre etc .. i have lost small pots like this few times and then bust out of turney.
Am I supposed to play any diffrent mid turney ? should i fold hands like KT QJ etc as it looks like people only call with hands that dominate me.
Really would love to improve in that part of the game to get deeper more often. Or is it just a variance and if I would play more turneys i would get better results over time playinghands like this when i have chips ?
