Football (soccer) betting thread
I'm not sure if this is in the right place (or if its allowed). But I'm going to start blogging all my football bets over the course of the current season, and maybe the odd horse tip as well. I'm a 27 year old bookie from England, and thought it would be nice to share my wealth of sports betting knowledge! I'm pretty confident I can show a long term profit, and hopefully anyone who follows me can do the same. I will post tips well in advance of kick-off, and update total profits at the end of each week. I will be advising what bet type, and which bookies are offering the most favourable odds.
Starting bankroll = $1000

Haha ok. I just think Newcastle are a poor side, who have been flattered by their results so far this season. I think this is their first real test against a good side. Tottenham made two great signings in Adebayor and Parker and I think they'll be right up there again this season. They've just hit a good run of form and basically I think they will outclass Newcastle. |

I had a sportbet topic here somewhere glad to see a new one.
Please note that most people here are semi-fish when it comes to sport betting so you might want to detail most of your selections in order to be fully understood.
Question, what do you think about Manchester United vs Manchester City X2 (City to win or City to draw in order to win) at 7/10?
