Hunger Games - 6/10

I read the books a while ago (they were ok, good light reading) but the story really takes a lot of inspiration from Battle Royale and a touch of Running Man. I don't know if people that haven't read the book will think its better than 6/10.

I felt Hunger Games was at least an 8/10. Mixture of modern day Truman Show and V for Vendetta. I didn't read the book before hand, now reading after, but seems to be very close to the movie.

Also, not the teenage bs I was expecting and can see numerous themes that were brought up that were not like OMG obvious. I think with a movie like this you have to look at it and be like, damn, ya.. that's where this world is headed

Plus Katniss is hot
