Default Rate The Last Movie You Watched

Black Swan - 8/10
Quote:
A ballet dancer (Natalie Portman) wins the lead in "Swan Lake" and is perfect for the role of the delicate White Swan, but slowly loses her mind as she becomes more and more like the evil twin sister of the White Swan, the Black Swan.
God' s Daughter (Natlie Portman) is imo pretty much a lock for this year's Best Actress award at the Oscars. Basically remortage your home and LUMP IT ON!!!

Knight & Day - 6/10

Quote:
June Havens finds her everyday life tangled with that of a secret agent who has realized he isn't supposed to survive his latest mission. As their campaign to stay alive stretches across the globe, they soon learn that all they can count on is each other.
Was actually better than I thought it would be. Action sequences were pretty cool, but really kind of corny and dumb.

Machete- 7.5/10

An action movie that was made to be a cheesy, B-grade, one line filled comedy type of film. Afterall the whole movie came from a fake trailer they made for grindhouse. I found a lot of scenes to be pretty funny and the action isnt too bad

little falkers

better than the second and nowhere close to the first. jokes are all set up but the previous movies and no new material or groundbreaking comedy was involved at all. 7 out of 13.5 stars.

True Grit (the new one)- 9/10

better than original except John Wayne > Jeff Bridges obv. Bridges still did pretty good and it was surprisingly funny.

agree with your rating, almost certainly the best movie of 2010. however, i thought Jeff Bridges owned John Wayne pretty hard.

The Fighter - 7.5/10

Quote:
A look at the early years of boxer "Irish" Micky Ward and his brother who helped train him before going pro in the mid 1980s.
Great performance by Christian Bale - who hasnt yet been nominated for an Oscar. Well, he will now. Dont know if he'll win though...

Some interesting youtube videos about Micky Ward and his brother; a crack addict who fought Sugar Ray Leonard in the late 70's

Must see for all boxing fans.

Didn't think much of True Grit apart from the excellent performance by the girl.

John Wayne played 1 type of character in all his movies, it's impossible to beat him imo.

Just watched Reign of Fire which is an older movie circa 2002. Had high expectations going in but gonna give it a 4/10, not very good.

Grown Ups - 7.5/10

Has a lot of funny comedians in the movie. Could have been better, but it was solid.
