how long to build a bankroll from 100?

im winning player currently at 5nl, 18bb/100 atm since i redeposited after a few months of

studying but im expecting that to go down to 3/4 obv with a bigger sample, how long would it take

roughly to reach 1k?

im sticking with 20 bi as my bankroll management do you think i shud be more flexible with it?

20 bi's is fine for micro stakes. It's basically just math to answer your question. If you start with 100 in your account. And you win 4BB/100 (4 big bets), that's .40c every 100 hands. So in order to get to 10nl you'd need 200d if you want 20bi's. So in 25k hands you'd make 100d and could move up to 10nl.

I'm not going to do all the math but you get the idea. Roughly around 30k hands per level, but with the variance in poker I wouldn't count on just roaring thru every limit. Basically just depends on how many hands you can play in a month, and if you play a lot you'll get there faster assuming you're a winning player.

thinking about playing 1k someday is a good goal to have but i wouldnt really be harping on that right now. work on your game, crush each limit and it can happen but i think saying i wanna play 1knl will cause you to take risks with your bankroll to get there faster which many people have done in the past and hasnt worked out for a lot of them.

also your ? depends on whether your planning on keeping all your winnings in your account while moving up.

I thought it was just to get $1k, but yeah 1knl is a bit different. What garbageman said is good. Also, when you get to like 100nl+ you'll likely need more Bi's in your bankroll cause it's much more difficult. Not many ppl maintain 3-4bb/100 there.

Play on a site where you get rakeback would be my advice. Helps you put in hands especially at the micros.

with only $100 Id probably try SnGs although I have no idea how hard they are these days, thats how I got my start
