Looking for stake deal, how?

I used to be pretty active on Leggo. Played a lot, commented a lot in the micro forums and I even wrote some bullshit blogs. Then poker died for me as the stake deal I was offered got ended and I needed to cash out my part of the roll for real life expenses that I did not see coming.

Now I have my shit back together again, I really wanna jump start my poker carreer again, but I don't have any money available to deposit on Stars.

So I need a stake deal.

It's pretty tough these days to get staked. Back in 2009 I could just PM some dudes and they would be happy to ship me 1k$ to get me started again, but since Black Friday and the whole taxes structure in The Netherlands, it got nearly impossible. I tried 2p2 too, but I'm just too unknown there and I lost all my HM databases, so I'm unable to send proof of my stats.

I just have a PTR as a reference which is way off on Full Tilt (I actually won money there, while PTR states I lost like 3k-ish). PTR is off for my Aerschtuner nick on Stars too, because I won less dollars there than PTR states. I play on a different nickname on Stars now to avoid paying taxes when I should win some dollars.

So, how am I gonna get a stake deal? Do you guys have any tips? Or is anybody interested? I come to you because Leggo is a place where some of the micro grinders can vouch for me without being looked at as a begger .

I think the honest truth is you won't find a stake with the information you gave here. I'd suggest trying to get a small amount of money on some site and start creating a database of you beating 5nl - 10nl. That way your potential backer can take a look at actual hands you played recently and will have something to go off of when deciding if you are a good investment.

Thanks Matt, that's actually a decent tip. Unfortunately I'm unable to get a few hundred bucks online. I have some Dutch guys that I can ask for a loan though. I'll try to hit them up.

Search for a staking site that is reputable and do some small stakes and build a relationship with some backers.

Seems like the 2+2 guy has enought faith in me and is willing to set me up for 50NL again. That'll enable me building a roll again. I'm excited and I hope we can finalize the agreement tonight!
