Memoirs of aejones (MSNL/HSNL Group Coaching)
I'm doing a group coaching beta at the moment- it'll eventually be an 8 to 10 part series breaking down theory and practice of all elements of 6m NLHE, from my point of view (and some elements of HU NLHE integrated as well).
The series cost is 500 dollars per audio segment (which last from 30-60 minutes). Each "series" or "chapter" in the "audio book" is an audio segment, followed by a scheduled skype conversation between the 6-10 people in the group, where each person takes turns (moderated by me obviously) asking 2-3 questions (guaranteed). I have no idea how long the conference call will take, I'm sure between 30 and 120 minutes, but I plan on addressing everything in that specific chapter.
The first chapter went out today to 6 people, I have room for four more if anyone is interested. The first chapter is a discounted $250, and the audio conference call will take place at 10 PM EST on Monday, March 24th. Taking part in the first chapter for $250 in no way locks you in for the subsequent 7-9. I will be offering some sort of deal if you purchase all 8-10 of them (probably 10 for the price of 9, or something like that), or you can buy them individually based on parts of your game that you want to improve. I'll use this thread to update when I've sent out the specific lectures and get feedback from those who have participated.
I appreciate all feedback, positive and negative (primarilly negative), and most importantly honest.
The First Chapter deals with simply preflop opening.
Chapter 1: Preflop Opening Standards: Who, What, and Why?

Additionally, I've brought Luckychewy on to be my guest on most, if not all, of these. He'll be adding quips about other ways to understand something or follow up details and examples, etc.- Basically anything I miss.

wait. so $500 for listening to you for 30-60 minutes then asking you 2-3 questions?
edit - also will you allow people to record these sessions so they can go over them at a later time to better internalize the content?

That is precisely the point. I will encourage/facilitate recording the skype conversations. They have the audio to listen at their disposal (and not share, because I got something to hopefully encrypt the audio or something- I don't know **** about it, but I think I got something done so it at least makes it harder to pirate, although honestly I'm trusting people here) which includes the book talk and the questions (theirs + everyone elses, including followups and ****).
I didn't say it was cheap, I did say it was thorough.

could you perhaps list the titles of the chapters you will be doing for those potentially interested in purchasing individual topics?

Tentatively:
1. Preflop Opening Standards
2. 3-betting, Calling 3-bets, and 4-betting
3. 3-bet pots as the Aggressor
4. 3-bet pots as the Caller
(Chapters 2 to 4 will deal extensively with postflop spots as well
5. Dry Flops- Don't Dessert Them
6. Why Wet Flops Make Me Wet
(Chapters 5 and 6 will deal with all streets postflop in single raised pots, and will include how to play postflop after flatting out of the blinds, this I continue like to think of as my strongest point of my game.)
7. Bluffing, Timing, and Psychology
8. Deep Stack Play
9. How to Pick Up Women (and what to do afterwards)
10. How to talk Trash Like a Pro (special Phil Hellmuth Guest appearace)
(*Chapters 9 and 10 don't exist yet)
This list is very tentative and will almost certainly be edited.

They can, yes (although people who buy earlier chapters have first come first serve basis if I get >10 people interested), however, I would let you know that the entire series is integrated- if I preach strongly against doing something preflop, I'm not going to teach you how to play that hand postflop- i.e. the entire thing is a style preference interwoven with detailed description about "why" that is designed to make you think correctly about NLHE.

Was a lot better than I expected when I read the title and listened to the first few minutes - was a bit disappointed when you got into that really basic pt stat talk in the first 4 minutes but it got a lot better quickly. I think you did okay (and should be a key thing to remember in the future) with the premise that we're all MSNL players and so we don't need the obvious pounded into us, but rather interesting concepts exposed to us etc. I'm impressed. Definitely signing up for the rest of the series.

Thanks for the review.
Yes, this first one is fairly basic- It contains a lot of really good reasoning as to why you are doing what you're probably already doing, or other alternatives to your standard preflop plays, etc.
I expect the following series to have more info; but that is why the first was half the price and considered a beta.
