what are the best poker sites to play on?

right now im on pokerstars but have been considering the switch over to another site that offers ********.

the way i would define a good site is;

good bonus system
player pool difficulty
******** %
tournaments
extra stuff like happy hours and that;

I've been liking Merge tbh. It offers decent RB thru Leggo, plus free Leggo. Also they have the "Maximus" tournaments or whatever going right now (not sure on details b/c i don't play mtt's). Player difficulty is easier than stars imo. I just started playing last month, but it seems they offer a number of promotions.

is the traffic high on that site? i was thinking of depositing like 200 and seeing how good i can run it up on party poker or a similar site. kinda getting tired of pokerstars $10 for 750 vpps deal and not being able to qualify for silverstar status until im a 50nl reg

im not calling stars cheap skates but you really have to wonder how they became so big when they don't offer RB

Party's vip system is worse than Stars. I played there when I first moved out of the U.S and it was the biggest waste of 2 months ever . I think I got like $150 grinding 100k hands at 25nl-50nl or something retarded.

Merge's traffic is solid for 25nl and under. Sometimes during 4am-7am Est (new york time) their are few 50nl games going, but other than that I haven't seen many problems. Only once or twice have I found 6 tables or less on 25nl and that was during that 4-7 window.

Personally I love Stars. However, I'm the same as you and want ********. Stars has great software and tons of games. But tbh I kind of like Lock Poker's (merge skin) look/software, it only took me a day or two to get used to it.

There's also Microgaming which I think has 30% flat ******** thru Leggo. I played there briefly, software seemed decent, I think the traffic during non peak hours isn't great. Ongame i hear is super soft, but again the traffic isn't great. However if you're playing 4nl-25nl I think any site will have a decent amount of games going at any time.

888poker looks decent a mate of mine plays on it instead of stars, i have been convincing him to switch over but maybe i might play there instead

888 has a poor VIP sistem, but competition is soft compared to stars.
Ongame has also a soft field, and a very good trafic. ********... i play around 45k hands/ month at bwin nl30 and make around 300$ from VIP.

Since I started not to care about rb anymore and switched to stars, I have way more fun playing poker. However, if you play for the $$, I think stars is pretty dumb unless u will become supernova. Ongame is good I think, but the software tilts me, so I don't play there. Was happy with ipoker software, but it took forever to start tables, so therefore I switched.
