Go into pokerstove and compare the card removal effects from his 5bet jam range. You should do it for real, but spoiler: it's about the same. A9 still a little better I think because of the large # of AK/AQ combos affected.

For the guys who are interested:

If villain 3-bet/5bets TT+, AKo, AQs+. 50 combos.

If we have A9o, villain has 42 combos.

If we have QJo, villain has 43 combos.

So yeah, 1 combo difference.

Hi,

sorry its a bit off topic. To play with hand ranges and compute that A9 vs QJ has one combo difference is a lot of fun;-) Of course you should do it to become a better player, but in order to move up you should work on bum hunting. I know its more fun to play against thinking players, but given the rake its not reasonable to fight good aggressive players at this limit. Focus on priorities.

just my 2c and good luck at the tables.

Well, I don't see what is wrong with working on your game vs regs, and at the same time table selecting if you play. But tnx for the advice anyway.

The green hands are the hands I am 4-betting with, the red ones are the ones I am calling with. This gives me a fold to 3-bet of 67%, which I think is fine at 50NL right?? I 2.5x BTN. Just is just a start, because I feel like I will get owned if I call so much as I do here. (but we have to start somewhere, right?)

High fold to 4bet really isnt much of a leak because someone is gonna need you to fold around 65% of the time if they are trying to bluff you. I would expect your 3bet to be a lot higher just because I expect more players who are going to call 3bets more often. Against those players you should be depolarizing especially in position and this should bring your CO and BTTN 3bet % to a higher average on its own. I would also expect to see a higher turn continuation bet considering that your opening quite a tight range pre.

Thanks Pete. Will do this again soon, since in the meanwhile I improved a lot with coaching and working hard overall. Also I play a fair bit looser now pre flop and 3betting more

you play way too tight and fold way too much in almost every spot, even postflop when your ranges are stronger than most.

your 3bet/4bet game is such an irrelevant concern, sure u could 3bet a little more but we are talking about 3-4% of hands you would play differently, not like 20%+

Analyzed my database, and apparently I am still too much of a pussy. 19/16 with a WWSF of 44, which is apparently not good. Trying to fix it already a while, but think I just have to keep trying call, bet and raise more. Tnx Klink.

fold to flop cbet too high should be around 40-53 % prolly on lower side given ur tight range.
u could definitely add some flop ch/r , again ur pfr stats will give u more feq and its just profitable, u must simply not find enough spots where u exploit ppls tendencies.
WTSD is wayyyyy to low as well.U seem to be folding too many turns as well, considering how strong ur flop continuing range is.
Cbet in 3bet pots can also be much higher since u only 3bet about 4%, again great image means more feq.
I would call more in the bb , especially if ppl minraise or 2,5x the button u cant fold 81% of big blinds.
I would 3bet more vs steals and u can defi find more spots to 3bet on the button as well.
Overall I would say, its not a bad thing to have solid preflop stats/ranges, but u seem to be overly cautious and probably miss out on alot of plus ev situations, and dont try to exploit peoples different tendencies enouggh.
Ur button steal is way too low, i dont have a problem with ur tight utg mp ranges, but u simply need to steal way m,ore, im pretty sure the vast majority of nl50 grinders have way too low defend ranges in blinds, im talking about the multitabling regs. Also given the fact u only play 4-6 tables , it should be way easier for u to find reasons to open lighter in utg or mp when there s a fish in the blinds, or 3bet some guy who calls too much and plays fit or fold post flop too often, or w/e else leaks u might see in ur opponents.
From reading ur posts u seem to be competent enough to attack those things, and again playing so lil tables there s no excuse for u to not pay attention to thse things. U might simply be focused on too many things ur doing , like playing technically correct etc.Loosen up (not only ur game) and relax and crush imo.^^
