Talking PLO 5th card

Hi all,

I'm sure most of you know the story of Harrington25 giving Bobby Bellande a 5th card in hu PLO, I was wondering if anyone could break down the math as to how much of an edge this would give , and am also curious if any of you would ever risk trying this against someone ?

Against a fish, sure. As far as the math goes, what are you expecting? Someone just does some long division on a napkin and figures this out? Given a day I could probably write a monte carlo sim for random 5 cards vs random 4 cards AIPF, but I don't know how useful that is anyway.
