| | question on LAG style. I wonder if is standard for lag players to lose in non-showdown spots in the long run and obviusly win a lot at showdown. i make this questions becouse in my first 6k hands at 50nl i'm running at 9bb/100 (my very first hand at cash in my life, obv running like clayton on his vids but thx leggo, the 30$ i spend here is the best investemnt of my life so far!!!) and I'm losing somewhat like 1.5bb/100 in non-showdawn spots, sure this is high becouse my game is still too spewy, but wondering if a good lag players win in this spots too!! |

| | | Its not that you should be loosing in showdowns is that your % will be lower than if you played TAG. Cause the quality of hands you are playing are not as good and you are going to value bet thiner when for example they got you dominated. For a good TAG it is standard to be looking for a 50% won at showdown, but something like 40-45% on won when see flop. A good LAG would have close to 50% won when see flop and less than 50% in showdowns, 48% in Won at showdown is pretty good for a LAG. |

| | | A good goal to set for yourself would be to break even in unshown pots. This is extremely difficult, but the closer you dome to breaking even, the larger your win rate. (showndown hands play themselves) |

| | | Seems like (just from your posts) you're just blindly firing 2-3 barrels into people. This isn't true LAG, this is more LAGtard and will get you to lose money in non-showdown pots just because you won't win enough pots on average to make up for all the money you're putting in on every other hand. Balance is key. | | | |
