Taking notes on online players

I bring this topic up from time to time most b/c I don't feel like I take VALUABLE notes on players.

Mostly it'll be specific notes:
check called three streets with TPTK on 8h7h6d board.

and if two or three similar notes add up like that, I'll add:
avoid value-betting thin. Drop bombs with 2pr+

I play 25nl, and some of the regulars at AP are pretty atrocious. My game is solid away from the tables, but I get carried away with FPS a lot of the time, and don't bother to take good notes on regs.

so

1) give me an example of your most valuable notes on people. insight that has been +EV that isn't necessarily viewable from your PaHUD

2) any insight/thought process that generates these notes. what helps you table-select when your only options are friday night regulars?

Try to write stuff like how he plays his bighands and draws, size of the raises and bets in later streets with and without hands and things that you won't get by looking to the hud.

A few example that have made me $ this week are: Likes to 3bet light the UTG raiser or squeeze, 4bet first 3bet blind vs BTN, push over my first 4bet, or timing tells, how thin is he value betting, ranges for calling 3bets or ISO raises.......

Anything that can help you determine what kind of player he is.

i note basically anything that makes me go "wow" or things that will be important like 3 street bluffing and the such

Betsizes, if they're capable of folding, how they play draws and/or monsters on dry vs wet flops. If they ever bluff or valuebet really thin.

That kind of stuff. Also, make notes when people make really stupid moves.

Yeah this, I also note what kinds of flops they check back as the PFR (and with what hands).
