Default SEABEAST $60k Win - Part 1/2

SEABEAST replays the $100 rebuy tournament ($60,000 guaranteed) on Full Tilt. SEABEAST replays all of the important hands from the beginning of the tournament all the way to a first place finish. This is part 1 of a 2 part video.

You can discuss the video in this thread!

definitely jump into the bigger ones, maybe not the tougher high buyin ones like the sunday $530 or the nightly $100 rebuy, but definitely any of the $109-$215 freezeout type tourneys are really soft so if you're rolled I'd jump right in.

it's tough for really reliable strategy. even the high stakes mtt forum on 2+2 is pretty mediocre.

harrington on holdem 2 is essential reading, other than that i think playing and thinking about stack sizes as much as you can and what you can get away with and what you can't type thing is the best way to improve.

Great video. Especially since you have a cash game background and therebye are explaining some things on that background. And I really like how aggr. you are playing, especially at the start of the Tour...

I am looking forward to part two where the line up is probably much harder since it will be the end game in the Tour and stacks are much shallower compared to the blinds.

These videos are great, because eventhough I am still a cash game player I like to play the sunday Tours once in a while, so it is great that I am learning that too.

So keep 'em coming

Btw. Please teach me how to run like god

hehe that can't be taught, it can only come from within!

glad to hear you say that about the sundays, that's really my goal here... i wanna help cash game players have the tools to play the really +ev tourneys better when they're on.

I liked the video as well as a cash game player who used to play SNGs but hasn't played very many MTTs, this is great.
A couple of questions:
Early you had QJo and opened the button and said you would have to call a sb shove with 10+ bbs laying you 3:2. How do you justify that? Especially cause he seemed to play tight.
When you flop sets on wet boards, your cbet size is significantly different than if it were a cash game you seem to bet like 55% of pot. I'm talking about the two sets at the end of the video. Why that sizing? Is it something as deep as trying to set up a small 3b that can be shoved over. Are you actually trying to plan the future bets in the hand out?
