Default New guy from micros?

I have been grinding out the NL micros and often find it quite dulling compared to playing two or three tables of plo? However am I only a marginal winner at NL Holdem, yet I find myself to be crushing the plo.
I find people really call down light in plo and cannot believe how much they limp, call raise, check fold flop. The games to me seem so much easier to beat.
I enjoy the game, yet wonder if there are anydownsides I might be overlooking when considering to switch my full attention to PLO?

I really see no point to playing NLHE in todays enviornment when you could be crushing PLO games.

I'd suggest going where your hourly rate is higher though. If you can make more money 10 tabling NLHE than 4 tabling PLO, then do that. But I think learning PLO is def the route to take right now.

I know I am kind of biased but I play poker to make money so I go to the game I can make the most and thats PLO for me right now.

Downsides are learning curve and variance.

You could have just been on a heater and crushed. The game is swingy as hell and it can make bad players think they are great and brilliant players think they are idiots. You need to really be able to think objectively about the game to withstand the high variance and have enough control to play your A game even after you drop 4 buyins in 100 hands. It happens all the time.
