In short, no. There is no run good or run bad, there are only small periods of variance that we all go thru.

Small will be a relative term, based upon the over all sample of hands that make up infinity in your poker career.

hellmuth dressed up like Caesar in the 09 so don't believe anything he says he has no idea what's going on. I believe in 08 he had an argument with Romanian poker player Cristian Dragomir(who has a poker show in Romania, isn't fantastic at poker but is better than hellmuth) and was trying to put Romania somewhere on the map with "idiots from northetn europe" but he missed some geography classes and failed.Dragomir got really pissed and cursed at hellmuth and would have kicked his ass if it wasn't for the managers+ security, I had zero respect for Dragomir until that incident, but they way he put the poker brat in his place that day earned some respect.

One fun thing I learned to do is when I “run good” all at once on a single table (or live) it really helps to talk to the other players about just how great and lucky you are at the moment --- this leads to lots of bluffing situations as they become scared to play with you while you are “on a heater”. If not scared, others will come after you with lesser starting hands too, which is not a bad thing to have happen.

Well, when you run bad you will often play bad. It's called tilt and its the greatest downswing accelerator out there. Its like Nitro in Need For Speed...except downhill with no brakes.... don't go there.
