I recommend a number of things to eliminate this:
First- Don't actively keep a tally if you are up or down, don't check your balance, and evaluate you play objectively.
Second- Play analytically, if you are happy when you are up, it is more likely you will be unhappy when you are down, focus on being "apathetic" to the monetary component as best you can.
Third- Follow etown's advice, when you gain a buy-in or two, re-eval your tables. A lot of times the dynamic will have changed, so I will leave and switch to a new table, in some ways this can psychologically feel like "booking" the win on the table.
Fourth- Do NOT set a rigid schedule until you are more emotionally detached, because if you DO start losing, and you stick it out because you have to, then you are only going to lose more, and poker will become a crappy job.
