Sorry I did not respond for that long.
So I cannot tell you exactly why poker works at the moment and didn`t on 25NL.
I decided to move from to 50NL because 25NL seems unbeatable. There was some curse over it.
I think the first and most important point is variance. This guy called variance is sooo big, I have no words for it.
A friend (the one who gave me money for poker, let`s call him Bob, because "the friend who gave me money" is so long) after watching me play said I play with too much FE involved in my game, which does not exist on 25NL. I had a positive red line on 1/2. That might be true but cannot be the reason I Iost, what was that, 23 stacks on 25NL.
So now as Im running good again, Bob told me that I was very tilted at that time. Well maybe this is true, but how tilted do I have to be to lose 5PTB at 25NL?
Is the edge, although mathematically it is pretty big, so vulnerable that you can be a losing player at 25NL while untilted beating 1/2?
There is so much Poker has in common with Chess. But in chess this is not true, if you have an elo of about 2250 you can be drunk, tired, everything and still beat a clubplayer while you have 5 minutes for your moves and he has hours.
However, pokerbuddies are supporting me pretty nice, helping me with HHs and everything.
I played 30K hands on 100NL with 5.05PTB and tried a shot at 200NL again. (Of course I dont say I beat 100NL for 5PTB now, because 30K hands is nothing, but Im on the way.)
Also 200NL works pretty good so far, I collected 20 stacks there already. 400NL has to wait, because I have to build a huge BR this time, I don`t want that to happen again.
Thanks a lot for your encouragement, guys.
I appreciate that very much.
