Hi my name is Mike.I am new to this forum and so not sure if this is the right place for this,and so if it isnt,tell me where to go and I go post this there.


I have been playing for 5 years now.I made a small $25 to $50 dollar deposit,but hand bad bankroll management and went bust.And then after that the USA and Washington State made playing poker online for real money into a class c felony,but still legal to play in freerolls and use money from that to play online.


My record,and this is not to brag,is that at local casino's in spokane WA,USA, I have played in 50 $12 buy in 75 player tourneys 25/50 starting blinds,13-15 min blind levels.
17 final tables 13 cashes.Biggest Cash Northern Quest Casino: $35 dollar buy in 100 dollars,tie and equal chop for 1st place for $700


Online.6000 player 2004 vegas trip 20k main event promo freeroll top 2 finishers win prize finished 3rd place 1 spot shy of winning main event seat 20k trip to vegas.


4000 player round 2 250k promo freeroll at UBnet finished 14th place after getting bad beated 8 times in row out in 23 hands 5 spots shy of final table spot on TV playing for chance to win 250k.


4000 player round 2 trip to Aruba promo freeroll at UBnet.chip leader 500k all in preflop QQ,I 400k chips call all in AA,out I go in 10th place 1 spot shy of final table TV spot to play for chance to win trip to aruba.


Won 12000 man round 1 2000 dollar hubble freeroll at Poker stars.


Cashed in Bodog freeroll 2 times over last month.


Cashed in Fulltilt Poker $100 freeroll. 2 times Cashed in Absolute poker's $50 freeroll. 2 times.


Finished in top 20 Qualified for round 2 of 250k promo freeroll at Cake Poker 2 days ago,round 2 to be held this saturday.


finished in top 2 of 360 play poker after dark round 1 freerolls to qualify for round 2 of poker after dark promo freeroll series about 13 times.Qualified for round 3 1 time.


The reason why I posted how I have done over the last 4 years,is that I have come oh so very close,because of some of the most horrific donk bad beats that I have taken,that has kept me oh so very close and short of winning big time money.


Now some people suggest that its just extreme murphy of poker bad luck and variance that is to blame for this,and some suggest that it was bad play responsible.
I do have flaws or leaks in my game.They include:I sometimes take unnecessary risk and chances,I sometimes overanalyze,I sometimes play to many suited connectors,etc.


So to test to see if this is bad luck or bad play etc,I have devised an experiment.And this is that when I play in any poker game or tourney or session.I have to report the results on it thru hand histories.There is no skipping any game,if I play a game that goes bad and I play bad,no matter how embarrassing it might be,I still have to immediatly report the results in HH form here in this thread or topic.


The point of this is that,if I go on a bad run,this will show whether it is because of bad play,or bad luck,or both,and if I go on a good run,this will show whether it is good play,or good luck or bad play and good luck etc.


Now some ground rules.If people want to post comments in response to this fine,but please make it constructive comments and understand that I or anyone else may agree or disagree,and may listen or not listen,and may apply or not apply what or if anything is said in response.If any 2 people or more disagree with each other,please dont fight etc.


Also please dont troll or flame.I dont want to hear someone say something like this for example:"Your the stupidest most moronic most idiotic player in the history of poker,because you stupidly pushed yor AK all in preflop and so u deserve to have yor AK called and beat by 72 u dumbass".


Also if anyone want to try the same experiment as me,and or want to post Hand histories,they can if they want to.

Limper inner never ever raiser nearly got punished big for not raising.But the donk will probably do it again next time and not learn.


And then these 2 hands got me knocked out again thanks again to limper inner never ever raiser's who limp in and dont raise on a extremely tight a s s table,and havent learned that the only appropiate time to limp in and not raise with a good hand is when on a hyper aggressive table.

Then out I go bad beat once in tourney,overflushed by limp in no raise idiots.And beat out by limp in no raise idiots.


While I still think I played ok during this tourney,I think I should have considered the possibility that this tourney had more than 1 limper inner never raiser who limps in and doesnt raise on tight a s s tables where everyone can limp in behind them and outflop beat them,after I took the first or 2nd beat at the hands of the limp in never raisers.
And so after the first 2 beats at the hands of these idiots I probably took 2 many unnecessary risk,which is one of my weaknesses.


Hopefully next time I wont have this problem with these idiots.

dont need to post a HH for this one this was early on in the 1000 dollar freeroll at Cake Poker.There was this poker idiot goof off all in freak who went all in preflop a lot,and EVERY TIME me and other tight a s s e s would raise preflop,he would reraise all in.And so because somebody needed to make a stand against this goof off,and because I could wait all day nto finally get AA to try and take him out,I called as soon as I got pocket 99's and of course he finally woke up with QQ hand and beat me out,and now he is probably all inning every hand as we speak.Oh well he will get beat out soon enough.

Couple of things Mike, first welcome. Next, there are various forums in here for posting HH's. For multitable tournaments, they go here: http://www.leggopoker.com/forums/mul...e-tournaments/

Now, what you should do is pick out a hand you had trouble deciding what to do with, run it through the HH converter here: http://www.leggopoker.com/index.php?page=hh

And then create a thread and give any relevant information about your opponent such as recent hands you played versus him or if he has a habit of raising your preflop opens etc. Then hopefully some of the guys in here will post advice on how they would play the hand and you can get different points of view.

One thing I will say is, not many are going to read your posts above cos its just too long.

I am having probs with converters.I posted about the prob on the forum.One of the site admins responded and told me to contact support about it.

So until I can convert HH's, using the converter,without it not converting the HH's,I am gona just have to post unconverted HH's.

My topic about reporting telling how I do in a game,session,tourney,by posting HH's,to do the experiment I have started,needs to stay in 1 topic or thread,not many different topic or thread.

The posted HH's,are gona be the HH of the hand I got beat out on,or cashed on,qualified on,or won tourney on,as part of the experiment I am doing.In this thread or topic I am not gona be posting HH's that I dont know if played right or not,and that where I would ask for help on,those kind of HH's are not going to be posted here.Altho if people want to comment here on the HH's I post they can.


When I want to post a HH of a hand I am not sure about and want to ask for help or advice,on the hand,then I will do like u said to do and post that HH where u said to post it.

At bodog which cant save HH's,so dont have them.I got donkbadbeated out,because I was shotstacked card dead,and so big donk stack called my pocket 10's all in preflop with 72 type cards and of course sucked out.


Then I played the Omaha High round 1 5000 player $2000 round 1 freeroll tourney,at poker stars,for some reason it hasnt been saving hand history,even tho the option is enabled.I only have 3 HH's for that site,and they are limit omaha not the NL omaha high tourney I played in.


I got donk bad beated 6 times in the tourney by donks who would call my big huge giant preflop bets and the rare all in preflop with any 2 6 9 Q all of same suit crap.I was pushing hands like KKJJ double suited,and it seemed like half the time I double or trippled up and the other half of time got sucked out on.So I went out in top 400 or so when the blinds were 800/1600.


Then At Cake poker:I went all in preflop on pocket 8's shortstacked in the $1000 dollar satelite by big stack donk with 10 8 off,donk makes full house 10's full of 8's on the river.

So the last 3 or 4 tourneys I have played in I have been donk beat out.
