Default Trying HU - i must be running hotter then sun

So as i had 16 buyin down-swing at NL$100 6max decided to play one table of HU (never did it before) while playing some turney. Lost in the turney with AQ vs KQ all in pre. I hit A then he got runner runner s8.

But at the HU table i was buyin up by this time and decided to play some more ..... finished $1200 across two tables for a $1k day ..... so i was sure it was a donks luck cose it was the first time i played proper HU session (and HU Cash in general).

I am 4ptbb/100 winner over the last two months at NL$100 6max, but wasn't expecting to win that much in one session just two tabling .... so i decied to play it again yesterday ....

won $1500 ... i mean i had one match that guy gave me $1200 over 1400 hands on one table. I had $1200 stack and he had $100 then he got us to "$650 to $550" stack sizes and i wen on to win that back and a another $100 on top of that.

To be honest I think i am running hotter then the SUN but you know what - I don't care lol .... to win $2500 in two days at NL$100 is like living in a dream land. Shame both days i played to guys that i lost like $200 to each of them as i couldn't flop anything against them and just didn't feel like playing any more (both times i stacked them first then they got it back plus another $200 on top).

All in all .... i think i will try to switch over to HU games and see how well i can do there ... but i don't hold my breath :P

I played NL200 HU for two months after being unable to break into MSNL 6-max games and had several 10 buy in, two 15 buy in and one 17 buy in downswing over the course of about 50k hands. But I still managed to sustain 13ptbb win rate over this sample (/subtle brag) and made some crazy money like your experiencing, but just be prepared for the swings the other way.

HU will improve your game HEAPS though. Trust me. You'll learn how to THINK. How to bluff and play with wide ranges and you get into some crazy deep stacked situations in aggro matches which is an invaluable experience and advantage to have when you go back to 6-max. If you stick out for 30k+ hands HU you will come back and crush 6-max. But be prepared for crazy swings, even at SSNL HU.

Nice brag though I do miss the days where you absolutely soul crush opponents for 10+ BIs

No way, any stakes is fine. I think it was Jman that said in his well on 2+2 that you can learn more about the game 1 tabling a fish HU than any other form of poker study because you learn how to value bet so thin and hand read well.
