Default Cake Poker review

I don't know if this has been posted anywhere else, but anyone here play on cake can give me a general idea of stuff like quality of software, quality of games (50-100nl ish), and quality of support/getting money out. Maybe a comparison between cake and FT or stars...

thanks

I wouldn't recommend it for SSNL. You can find good SSNL games on major sites, not as much need to have Cake. Cake software and support are very bad, not worth the hassle/risk for SSNLers.

agree with craig. I play msnl and I stll feel like its not worth the hassle even tho the games are a lot better than ftp/stars. Cashing out is super slow, the software can make u tilt its so bad, and its harder to review sessions because you have to use the cake hand converter to load sessions into pt/Hem and even then most peoples screennames are partialy blocked out in the HHs by the cake software.

Cake is my favorite site, but you need a fast computer with a good processor and 3-4gb of ram for it to run smoothest. I have a nice laptop with 4gb Ram and it runs great. I think the 50NL and 100NL games are no doubt quite softer than Full Tilt, but not as much as they used to be.

I just started playing 100nl on Cake this week just for a change (been grinding stars for last 6 month). Compared to Stars the games are amateur, even some of the winning regs open limp. The games are soft, but are polluted by shortstackers. I 6-8 table stars but can only manage 4-5 tables on here because of the software and quick timebank. If u are Euro like me the games traffic is low during the afternoon and early evening and only get 10+ tables of 100nl going from 8-9pm GMT.
