Default 100nl AK faces 4bet all in (100bb) after a 9x3bet

Opener is UTG in a 5 handed game and is playing 22/19, has folded to every 3bet previously (7 instances)

I had 3bet a few times and had folded to a cold 4bet from the blinds a few orbits ago.

I play 26/22 ish and 3bet about 13% otb and 7% in the co

What do we make of his shove? I highly discount AA, KK and QQ. My guess is that it is a lot of 22-JJ and AQ with some random hands in for good measure.

I did not believe him to be on the tipping point for spazzing out though, if you know what I mean.

Is calling a breakeven play long term?

IPoker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

SB: $214.70
BB: $100
UTG: $183.25
Hero (CO): $113.15
BTN: $178.85

Pre-Flop: A K dealt to Hero (CO)
UTG raises to $3, Hero raises to $9, 3 folds, UTG raises to $183.25 and is All-In, Hero is not sure what to do but I am getting 46% pot odds

it's not a breakeven call at all. i'm pretty sure it's a fist pump call here.

I think you have to call it off here. Why 3bet if you aren't going to call it off? I mean, if you are going to fold AK to a shove, you might as well just flat preflop. He has AK imo.

How many hands do you have on him?

I don't know about all that, but I'd call for sure.

Basically you just have to stove a range for him and figure it out, if there's any AQ in there, you're fine. Even if not, it's not gonna be a huge -EV call. Call and take a note imo.

Ye defo, getting it in vs AKo here is huge for us, because if we're folding hands we're splitting (and freerolling) this is horrible for us. Get it in vs JJ and bink, IMO
