Default 100nl get c/r as expected, now to the turn

I'm not sure about the turn play here but flop play may be debatable as well.

I had been battling back and forth with the villain and was getting the better of him when this hand came up.

I bet the flop fully expecting a c/r and called. I had 300 hands on him and had c/r the flop 25%.

Is there any merit in doing anything than calling the flop?

On the turn I pair up and shove, is call and call non H rivers more optimal or is trapping his FD+overs that are bet/calling the turn more profitable?

I also think he folds some % of the time too

If you are fully expecting a c/r on the flop, why haven't you planned for this?

Well, my plan was to call any 4 or 9 and shove if I hit a pair but I'm not sure if this is optimal.

doubt he bet/calls worse on the turn like ever, which makes a turn jam pretty bad. i prob call/call non heart rivers against this guy

Yeah agree with above, the turn jam is pretty bad considering he is hardly ever bet/calling worse.

Because of his high c/r % on the flop, you really should be adjusting on flops like this with the hand you have. There may be some merit to checking back on the flop maybe?

Do we think villain bet folds AThh etc on the turn? Ie overs and a FD

And yep, there is an adjustment to be made vs villain but I don't think I should be checking back 7h. Maybe AJ or 2nd pair but I think betting w the oesd and no showdown value is ok here

^^ That's reasonable, but if we are betting, what is our plan vs the "likely" c/r? Because we do have no showdown value, and there is also a flushdraw out so even if we hit we are likely worried of being outdrawn or him at least having possible redraws?

I think when you bet/call on this type of board things get a bit confusing (like they are here), which is why there may still be merit to checking back vs this type of oponent specifically.

fps
bad card for him to continue bluffing or semibluffing, yet he still bets it. When he ch-raises this flop he reps polorized range and there is no need to rebluff a polorized range since he folds out air and never folds his value ch-raising hands
fold flop btw

I wouldn't put too much stock into 300 hands and 25% c/r, that could be like 2/8 times he's c/r or something, so wouldn't worry too much about that.

It's a decent flop to check back though b/c these are boards where people attack and you obviously don't wanna 3bai. Also, by checking back when you hit your straight your hand is so underrepped/sneaky.

As played I don't like shoving turn, I'd probably call and play some poker on the river.
