Default 200NL 6max: Small PP v SS

Villain is playing 23/22, 3bets 17% BTN v CO with 1/4 fold to 4bet. He seems as a 24/20 with around a 65% fold to 3bet.

€1/€2 No Limit Holdem
PokerStars
6 Players
Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG (€218.16)
UTG+1 (€158.02)
Hero (CO) (€227.91)
BTN (€80)
SB (€232.31)
BB (€250.53)

Pre-Flop: (€3, 6 players) Hero is CO 3 3
1 fold, UTG+1 calls €2, Hero raises to €6, BTN raises to €18, 2 folds, UTG+1 folds, Hero ???

What kind of range are you shoving here? Are you ever overlimping here instead of iso'ing?

i am probably shoving 55+,A9+, i dont think overlimping is gonna be great, i would just muck it sometimes if he 3bets this much.

The dynamic is alittle tricky with a weak player limping infront. I think he is doing this for value way more than a bluff because the weak player might call/stack off light. I would just fold 33.

I think ill shove AJ+/88+ in this particular situation. It really depend what range you put him on. And whether you think he can be bluffing here.

I thought of a range like this at first, but I think he's prob a bit tighter here that u are isoing a fish. I might end up shoving something like 77+ and AQ in this spot. Also depends on how many hands we have on villain b/c it could just be a sample size thing.

Before I even raised 33 I would've already planned out I am going to shove if he 3bets. Because he 3 bets so much if you don't think it's profitable to shove you should be folding preflop. I am pretty sure it's +ev to shove though because you would barely be losing money if he 3bet gets in a pure value range of like AT+ and 77+, he doesnt have to 3 bet fold too often to show a profit.

Whats bad about over limping?
Youre almost sure you will play multiway with a fish in the pot the blinds might come along too. and if the fish fold you just fold yourself and lose 1bb,

Sometimes if there is a big fish at the table and there are squeezers on my left, I will open limp small pocket pairs hoping to lure a fish in the pot so I can flop a set and have a chance to stack him.
If I raise Ill often have to fold to a 3bet oop.
I usualy open raise by the way,..
