Default Like it or not !!

Just joined this site and this is my first post.

Here's the hand I played against a weak regular. ( 19-14 stats over 2K hands )

Party, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

MP: $137.01
CO: $357.35
BTN: $321.82
SB: $200
BB: $200
Hero (UTG): $685.65

Pre-Flop: J Q dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $6, MP folds, CO calls $6, BTN folds, SB calls $5, BB folds

Flop: ($20) 6 4 K (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $14, CO calls $14, SB folds

Turn: ($48) T (2 Players)
Hero bets $28, CO raises to $62, Hero calls $34

River: ($172) 3 (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $68, Hero raises to $603.65 and is All-In, CO calls $207.35 and is All-In

Note : this is not a standard open for me UTG with QJ off but the table is so tight and i've been running them over for the last ten minutes. ( always showed good hands )

When villain raises the turn I put him on a KT , TT or a slowplayed set on the flop but I guess he would raise a set on the flop since we are 180BB deep and wants some money in or maybe he wanted the fish in SB to come along. He never ever has a flushdraw here on the turn as played because he's weak.

If you have been running everyone over, I don't think he folds a set or 2pair here. Especially if the table is so tight because that means he is taking his line for value.

Just because you guys are deep isn't a good reason to discount sets from his range on the flop. He most likely has a hand right off the flop given the fish is yet to act and he is calling anyway. He may want to keep the fish in. He may suspect you have air when you bet this flop a lot and he may also want you to barrel. If you have a K you will vbet turn anyway.

I understand your reasoning for your river play but I just can't believe this is a +EV maneuver to get this guy to fold a set here or 2 pair at the worst. I think we can literally narrow this guys range to K10 and 66/44, maybe even KK if he flats that pre to be trappy.
You say he's a weak player. That being the case, I wouldn't give him credit for hand reading and I would never try to get him to fold a set for any price.

don`t try to fold out 2pairs and sets on nl200, really..

more often than not it`s gonna be huge -EV play, even if it works this time (and you got correct villian to do that against, and all the factors fall together)

Thanks guy's for the input. When I called the turn after tanking a bit I was going to check shove a clean club or a straight obviously. At the time I tought I realy could represent the flush and him folding any two pair. Now I realize that maybe it wasn't such a good timing for doing so after running them over.
But when I saw his hand I was even more surprised .

Villain shows [Ah, Ad ]
Hero shows [Jc, Qd ]
Hero wins $328.30 USD from main pot
Villain wins $719.70 USD from main pot
