Wow thats tough. He should be raising the flop with anything he's raising on the river to charge on a very drawy board. His line makes no sense and I think that makes this a call.

Wow, I read the title and was about to auto-post callcallcallcall but looking at this I am stumped.

Its marginal whether you call or fold. I could definately see him flatting KQ/55/AdXd preflop. I think he only calls the river with KJ/AK, so his shove is the Nut flush/Boat or pure air. But if it was the A high flush I can't see him check calling turn and checking to you on the river.

I call cos I don't think many players at 200nl check a boat or a flush on the river even to a "maniac". Its also likely he would expect you to call a raise if he put one in on the turn.

I would call too. I think he would raise AQs or KQ on the flop. It's a sick hand.

@Fuzzy: I hope I am not off-topic and won't get someone mad but I wanna show you a hand played earlier by me, checked nuts on the river, it's not exactly the same, but you should keep in mind that people can make good plays even at 50nl, based on reads and against a maniac they could play a boat like this

UTG: $50
CO: $11.82
BTN: $72.54
SB: $68.53
Hero (BB): $50

Pre-Flop: A Q dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG folds, CO calls $0.50, BTN raises to $2.50, SB folds, Hero calls $2, CO folds

Flop: ($5.75) 5 2 7 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $3, Hero raises to $10, BTN calls $7

Turn: ($25.75) 9 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: ($25.75) J (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $60.04 and is All-In, Hero calls $37.50 and is All-In

Results: $100.75 Pot
BTN showed 5 A (a pair of Fives) and WON $22.54 (-$27.46 NET)
Hero showed A Q (a flush, Ace high) and WON $98.75 (+$48.75 NET)

agree with Flavius

Good player will check nuts on the river if he thinks player is crazy agroo.
I do it often aginast player like this cose they always bet river.

Most of the time its against 60/25 guys that reraisde your flop c-bet and keep betting. This is a bit different but still can be done if you think this guy is good ... i think i am happy to fold that river

I go against the trend here and fold. This seems like a set or top two that was gonna go for a CR on turn, but got scared of the flush there. I just don't see a CR here on the river being a bluff and I don't think villain would CR trips with a solid kicker either.
