What is your plan after 3 betting BB vs SB? you advise a range consisting of 22+ etc., do i call the shove with the whole 3 betting range? what about sizing?

I think just shoving is the most effective here. With most of your 3 betting range you would be better off if he just folded, and shoving forces him to play as tight as possible. For you to actually prefer to be called, you would be need 57.1% equity versus his calling range if he opened to 2.5 BB. So the only hands that really badly want to get called are TT+ (with 99 and AK it's about a wash). Of course, if you think he is not going to figure it out you could be super tricky and make it 6.5 BB with TT+ and a few bluffs and shove with everything else. My guess is they wouldn't figure out what you were doing until they played 4-5K hands against you and if they are robots maybe never!

If the short stacker min raises the button you could still follow the strategy outlined in the video-it would be no worse than conventional strategies, but then again I don't think it would be alot better anymore either. For instance, shoving hands like T6s would probably no longer be optimal. I think a better strategy would be as you say, to 3 bet less, and call alot. Although I have not yet done the math to prove it, I believe that you could profitably call a min. open with a very wide range: any ace, any two offsuit cards 7 or above, any two suited cards. The reason I believe this is that if you fold you will lose 50 big bets per 100, and I suspect you can call a min raise and lose less than that (even with a bad hand like 73s)-let's say something like 35 BB/100. The rake would be around 20 BB/100 per each of you and there would be 25 BB/100 dead from the small blind, so if the opponent won less than 35 BB/100 versus your flat call you would be doing better than if you folded. I personally doubt that a 60% open range would be able to win 35 BB/100 even with position and even against a weak hand like 87o, but of course doing the math and running some simulations to prove that assertion would be quite complex and time consuming.
