This video has been edited to increase the audio volume and re-uploaded to the site.

sorry about my constant audio problems guys. ill speak with leggos tech person and get it fixed.

a quick note on the video, early on with 98dd in the reraised pot. I kind of fumbled my words, what I meant to say is that shoving the turn i think polarizes my range to semi bluffs and strong made hands, where in reality i have something in between. I am trying to get called by a bluffcatcher, so I think that shoving > betting 1/3 - 1/2 pot > checking. I think betting 1/3 - 2/3 pot looks too strong and this maximizes my chance of him looking me up.

2nd - QJo flop checkraise at the end. too thin, too hopeful to get lookd up by something worse. i didnt have an aggressive enough checkraising dynamic in this match. i talked to kyle about it and he said he wasnt intending on calling down with 99, which is the type of hand i need to be looking me up to make this profitable (basically assuming 99 = QX = QT)

One of the best videos I have seen.

18 minutes in you call a 3bet w 55. Flop comes 4J9 rainbow, and he bets. You decide to bluff min-raise, mentioning how it's a better option than calling the flop bet, and guessing on the turn.

I agree with that, but I've noticed that min-raises get a lot less respect than raises that are just say 3 blinds bigger than a min raise. Seeing how it's the first time you've done that against him, at least in this match, I was wondering whether you usually use the min-raise in HU games?

I think the two folds that you made on the river with top pair were both correct, btw. Really awesome video.

Agreed, definitely one of my favorite video makers. Hopefully we get to see much more HU videos from Ben.

Thanks for the complements. As for the minraise- I just decided on a whim that i was going to work it into my game for that match but never really got in any spots to use it again. Against someone I am familiar with like Kyle I dont think straight minraising is much different than 2.1xing it. I expect him to react the same way to each bet. Against an unknown I think generally 2.1xing it will get more respect for what I guess to be psychological reasons.

Also part 2 of this match is complete and will be my next release.

i didn't get the str8 muck A9o to a button open when u say he's opening 90% buttons, A9o seems way to strong imo. also didnt quite get the QT fold on AATTx flop, seems like he could be counterfeited there a lot and that your hand is worth a call. I'm also not a hu player and am watching these to learn the game. appreesh your feedback. Very good video, thx a lot.

My reasoning for not playing A9 oop is that I feel like even though I dominate much of his opening range, playing the hand will put me in a lot of situations where I win a small pot or lose a bigger pot. It's just a reverse implied odds hand and I have to draw the line somewhere. I try to play tighter oop than most so drawing the line at ATo I feel is optimal especially against tough opponents.
