Question @ 35:42 on table 1 (AQs) wondering if u ever 2 barrel here are even 3 barrel on a 4 river or another 2? I was thinking these guys range was pretty defined to 77-1010 just floating one bet..... I could be totally wrong cause my experience is limited but just a thought....

my experience at these levels is that barring expansive history + villain sitting on a lot of money, people tend to not fold enough of their range on this turn + this board texture, thus barreling isnt profitable enough IMO. i think 3 barrels is feasible since they can fold 99 on the river, but it's too much guesswork to start a session against an unknown sitting on lots of monies

note that in prior videos i had more transparent/easy barrels because the players at hand made their hands more obvious and the board texture/image i had fostered allowed me to make a more profitable 2nd barrel.

1 example was having KQ in vid 2 against a guy who had a similar, 1-street peel hand range however the board texture (all low-ish and dry) made it more obvious i could have 99+ for value and plus he was tight. easier 2nd barrel.

but here we have a board where he's sitting on lots of monies, is never folding the toppest pair (its a good assumption), and often has a middle pp range. i just think on these board textures oop you need to play a convincing role in the strength of your hand, and on a K872r board you are basically saying "I have AK/AA".

People sitting on lots of monies can easily see that and be like "okay fine, show it to me then, because i'm not folding this marginally good hand. worst case scenario i'm only up 200 instead of 300, but i dislike pressing the fold button and you don't provide a convincing case!"

hey,

in the beginning of the video u have the second nut flush draw and you put your opponent on a weak set of 10s. Why didnt u call his bet on the turn? If he has the 10 you can maybe get alot of money of him if you hit on the river. Just wondering..

I was just about to bring up that hand as well...
I can't see how folding is correct, especially given the small size of the bet(less than 1/2 pot).

It's around the 6min mark.

An excellent debut, but slow playing those hands made me cry.

Good vid overall.

Towards the end of the video I dont really agree with you betting turn with QJ on the J109 board vs kgb. Yes he is calling with worse such as A10, 98, etc but when you get cr here you make a big mistake. Instead of putting in 0 and getting a chance to improve to the best hand now you put in 30 bucks and get denied that chance. I think checking back is better, planning to call a bet on most rivers, or if he checks again now were prob good and its valuetown time when were are up against the hands you said would call on the turn that we beat. Another thing to consider is does A10 really call 2 barrels? So might as well get that one value bet in on the river (where his calling range will widen anway, sometimes a baby pp looks me up on the river in spots like these)

Also, I think its important in these videos to not just call people fish, but go more in depth into what they are doing exactly that makes them fish. Then as a result, what we need to do in response to really exploit their bad play. It seemed like kgb was not giving you much credit in general, so it felt to me like its best to play kind of patient and have the goods vs him when money goes in. It felt like perhaps you got a little impatient vs him, just my take on it

There's a hand where UTG (or MP. dont remember) opens to 4.5x after minraising other times. (forgot his name)
Kgb ccalls on btn and your in blinds w/ AQs.
You 3bet to $37
Why 3bet there? It would seem your gonna play a more bloated pot than normal OOP(due to larger raise you have to make cuz of the 4.5x open)
And doesn't his larger UTG open make it better to just call and play smaller pot and make sure you keep Kgb in the hand?

Good vid btw <3
