Simon and Andrew review some hands while discussing how certain lines and bet sizes will exploit opponents tendencies, hand reading down the streets, and playing vs. unknowns. Other topics include playing vs. flop, turn, and river raises, calling with nothing to bluff, calling with bluff catchers, and taking weird lines and being able to read into weird lines at various stakes.

first hand with the AQ. Barring metagame considerations, I don't think your river call is correct in a vacuum.

You have a T on river so often and not really that many missed draws that I just don't see the need for you to bluff catch with ace high. If you are not folding this hand, what are you folding? It's a spot where villain can credibly rep a decent amount of value hands and we can't really expect him to take this line as a bluff all that often. As it turned out, the hand he showed up with is probably one of the very few combos that an unknown reg would be expected to bluff river with at any decent frequency, but all too often you are just going to see T9, trips, KT+, slow played top pair+, etc..

This is exactly what Andrew said, and i am glad you bring it up again. Had i made this video alone, i would have tried to convince you how smart my rivercall is. Thats how important good input is.
